Fashion Fundamentals: Christmas wishlist and gift ideas for a fashionable holiday

Sleep sets

Whether you’re looking for something to put on your wishlist or are in need of a gift idea for family or friends, a cute, cozy PJ set is a great way to go. With various stores like Victoria’s Secret and SKIMS selling both holiday sets and basic staple sets, pajama sets are a great way to go. Amazon is another great option if you’re looking for something a bit more pocket-friendly with a myriad of options and styles of pajama sets in a variety of colors.

Slippers

We saw Ugg slippers, platforms, and boots resurge in popularity last Christmas season, and they’ve continued to come out with various styles, colors, designs, etc. Uggs are a perfect present, they’re cute but extremely comfortable, a rare but highly sought-after combination. Amazon too has a phenomenal selection of Ugg-like slippers and slide-on booties for better deals and tends to have a better variety to choose from.

Gift sets

If you’re in need of stocking stuffer ideas for Secret Santa that won’t break the bank, gift sets are the perfect item. There’s a myriad of different kinds of sets you could gift someone or ask for including lip balm sets from both Summer Fridays and Rhode with a handful of different colors. Another option is perfume sets from beloved spots like Carolina Herrera or Dior. Makeup gift sets from brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Tarte, etc. which include a variety of products are another great gift set for this holiday season. Another idea for your list is body wash and lotion sets from Bath & Body Works which offer a variety of scents and gift set selections.

Watches

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to add to your jewelry collection, make sure to add a watch to this year’s wish list. They’re the perfect addition to every outfit and with a variety of styles, sizes, metals, and watch faces, at a variety of price points. Fossil watches are a great option as they offer a diverse selection of styles and tend to keep prices on the lower end (for watches at least) with most averaging under 200. Amazon also has a great selection of watches at different price points and styles for everybody.

Perfume

My favorite gift to receive on any holiday, birthday, or special occasion is without a doubt a bottle of my favorite perfume. For me, this would be anything Mugler, specifically Angel by Mugler (whenever I wear that perfume, I’m always asked about it or complimented on it). Asking for or giving someone their favorite perfume is an amazing gift, I’ve never met anyone who has too much perfume. If you’re looking to try a new perfume some of my favorites are Miss Dior, Coco Mademoiselle, and Flowerbomb!

Keep warm

The holiday season is synonymous with keeping warm and cozy so make sure to consider adding some fuzzy socks, gloves, scarves and hats to your wish list this season. Target and TJ-Maxx are great places to find these snug goodies for your friends and family. With bundles that include a matching scarf, hat and gloves as well as six and 12 packs of fuzzy socks. The holidays are a time to wind down and relax with your family or friends. Relaxing in style is critical when spending quality time with friends and family and there is no greater way to do so than in a pair of sweats or lounge sets from Aerie, Target, Skims and Amazon all offering a selection with options to fit everyone.

Stylish sneaker

If you need new shoes, the holiday season is a great excuse to get your hands on some. There are loads of options and if you have a pair in mind make sure to add it to your list ASAP as shoes are notorious for going out of stock during the holiday season. If you need some ideas before picking a pair to add to your list this year, look at the Adidas x Blondey McCoy AB Gemini sneakers they’re stunning, a bit pricey, but a solid option. Another great option in my opinion is the Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 860V2 sneakers, similarly, they’re quite pricey but stunning. If you’re looking for something more wallet-friendly I also love Reebok’s shoes. They offer a great deal of different styles, designs, and colors without being wildly overpriced (like many of the Adidas and New Balances).
