The holiday season calls for all kinds of celebratory events; family gatherings, company dinners, and ugly sweater parties. If you find yourself in need of a contribution, this is the perfect feature for you. All University students over the age of 21 can use this a guide to make the best Christmas Cocktails for all of your boozy holiday occasions.
This Christmosas tutorial on Youtube has been making its way around Facebook feeds everywhere, and it just may be the most favored drink of the season. What you will need to perfect this holiday take on a mimosas? Apples, grapes, pomegranate seeds, cranberries, sparkling grape juice, and a bubbly of your choice.
Place the chopped fruits and seeds into the bottom of a pitcher. Then pour 1/4 of sparkling grape juice into the pitcher. For the last step, fill the rest of the pitcher with bubbly. It is as simple as that. While this seems like nothing, it will truly blow all of the other boozy beverages away with how magical it looks when everything is added together. Merry Christmosa!
The White Christmas Martini allows you to enjoy snow without the frigidness of frostbite.
The martini is a simple recipe, but it will be loved by all those who drink it. You will need two ounces of vanilla vodka, two ounce white chocolate liqueur, one ounce white creme de cacao, one ounce of half-and-half, and finally, honey and coarse sanding sugar to add to the top edges of the glass.
Once you have the ingredients, you will then pour the honey in one shallow dish and the sanding sugar into another. The rim of the glass will need to be evenly coated in honey. Once it is evenly coated, you will dip the rim of the glass in the sugar.
When the glass is all set, take an ice-filled cocktail shaker to add the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake all of those ingredients together until it is well set. Lastly, pour what is in the shaker into the prepared glass. Enjoy this variation of a White Christmas!
The North Pole Cocktail will take you straight to Santa’s workshop. For four servings of this cocktail, you will need to have four ounces vodka, 2-3 ounces Kahlúa, four tablespoons chocolate syrup, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, three teaspoons ofmolasses, 1/8 teaspoon of ginger, 1/2 cup of heavy cream or whole milk, and the optional decorative additions- whipped cream, candy canes, and gingerbread cookies.
Grab your cocktail shaker to combine the vodka, Kahlúa, chocolate syrup, vanilla, molasses, and ginger. Add ice and shake once again. Once it looks properly prepared, distribute the cocktail into four separate glasses. Add heavy cream to top off each glass, and stick in the gingerbread cookie with a candy cane. Santa and his elves will love the North Pole Cocktail, and so will all of your friends.
The Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer is just as sophisticated as it sounds. To create this spritzer, you will need a bottle of prosecco, two ounces of peach schnapps, four teaspoons of lemon juice, four ounces of pomegranate juice, one small bottle of mango flavored seltzer, six to eight sprigs of rosemary, one fresh pomegranite, a half cup of sugar, and one cup of water.
Add the water to a small pan with the sprigs of rosemary. Then, add the sugar to boiling water and stir until the sugar dissolves. Turn off the heat, and strain the leaves to cool it down. Remove the seeds from a fresh and cleaned pomegranate. Keep the pomegranate seeds aside because they will be needed later
Pour the prosecco into four cocktail glasses and add the half ounce of peach schnapps, half ounce of rosemary simple syrup, one teaspoon of lemon juice, the ounce of pomegranate juice, and a splash of the mango soda water into each glass. Once everything is added, you will then stir each of the glasses. Finally, add one tablespoon of the pomegranate seeds to each glass and allow them to float to the top. The Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer is a great option to bring to a holiday work gathering.
Any of these Christmas cocktails would be the perfect addition to any holiday gathering. Feel free to add your own flare and specialize your own recipe!
