Cupid’s Undie Run
On Saturday, Feb. 9, New Yorkers can dash across the city with love for a good cause. Cupid’s Charity, a non-profit company established in 2010, hopes to raise money to end neurofibromatosis (NF) by hosting their infamous Cupid Undie Run.
The run begins at noon at stage 48 at 605 W 48th Street and ends around 4 p.m. All proceeds from the event go to find a cure for NF, a genetic tumor disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 births. There is also an ongoing party for participants throughout the day to toast to the good cause.
The Times Square 2019 Valentine’s Day Heart
Open to the public from Feb. 1 to 28, Reddymade’s “X” in Times Square is the 11th annual Times Square heart design. “X” was chosen to stand in Times Square this year to symbolize “interpersonal and civic love.”
According to Reddymade, “People from all backgrounds cross paths in Times Square, and Reddymade’s design offers them a meeting point for further exchange and connection.” Whether you’re an avid art follower or just looking for a cool place to meet up with a loved one, this eye-catching sculpture is worth braving the crowds of Times Square for.
