Ashleigh O’Gradney is a freshman at the University majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. She has a love for writing, whether it’s essays for class or articles for publishing. She has always enjoyed watching movies and analyzing them, so taking both journalism and film classes during high school in her hometown of Lincolnshire, Illinois inspired her to combine the two. She started writing for The Pace Press in 2023 and specializes in film reviews. Aside from writing, she loves cooking homemade meals for herself, reading true-crime books and going out to eat with friends. Although her future plans don’t highlight journalism, she might try and include film criticism in her future career.
