Anais Denuccio, Staff Writer

Anais Denuccio is a sophomore double majoring in Political Science and Peace & Justice Studies with a minor in Journalism. Her goal is to bridge the gap between the complex world of politics and the everyday lives of our readers. She believes that every voice, every vote and every story matters. By majoring in political science, she wants to work towards the commitment to making the world a better place, one written word at a time. Her passion for journalism and TV broadcasting started in her hometown, where she contributed to her high school news outlets and attended competitions like the Florida Scholastic Press Association and Student Television Network. She also acted and co-produced several short films with her film partner. After submitting to film festivals, one of their film projects ended up being shown at the AMC Theater in Times Square. Born in Manhattan, Anais was more than happy to return to the city, especially to explore its libraries and bookstores. She enjoys literature, film, art and fashion. In her free time, she loves to explore music spots, sample diverse cuisine and spend a lovely night out.
