Malak Kassem, Staff Writer
Malak Kassem is a freshman and joined The Pace Press in 2022. She's Egyptian, born and raised in New York. Prior to The Pace Press, she was an editor for her high school paper. She also wrote for multiple teen publications such as Teentix Newsroom and 826NYC. Alongside her writing for The Pace Press this year, she's also interning at Press Pass NYC, an organization that works with local high schools to create and provide resources and mentorship for high school newspapers.
