Priya Persaud, Columnist Editor
Priya Persaud is a junior at the University majoring in Criminal Justice and pursuing a dual minor in Environmental Studies and Women & Gender Studies. In seeking more writing-oriented endeavors, Priya joined The Pace Press during her sophomore year, assuming the role of Opinion & Editorial Editor. In the subsequent academic year, she furthered her position as the Columnist Editor and Intern Manager.
Alongside The Pace Press, Priya also serves as the Vice President of the University's debate organization, Pace Debates. Beyond campus involvement, Priya coaches debate for middle schoolers in New York and works elections with the Associated Press. Outside of her academic and leadership roles, you'll likely find Priya indulging in classic literature, or immersing herself in her favorite video games. Following undergrad, Priya plans to attend law school, with the ultimate goal of a career in the field of environmental law.
